Nick and Dino worked alongside Marchand during the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce Policy & Solutions Forums, where Marchand brought business, labour, and academia together to bring forth ideas and solutions for the Canadian Auto Czar Ray Tanguay to use in a national Auto Report. Feedback from the event was in part used for Tanguay’s Auto Report, Drive to Win.

Lillian is a Windsor native and Hon. W.C. Kennedy Collegiate Institute and University of Windsor graduate that currently lives in Seattle working for Amazon. She was a keynote at the Windsor-Essex Tech Show, of which Marchand was a founding partner. Continuing to foster a strong relationship with senior technology executives from companies like Amazon is essential for the region’s growing tech sector.

“Bringing people together to get things done for the community is an essential portion of the Campaign. It is imperative we all come together to drive progress. I’ve worked extensively with the three Co-Chairs and am humbled that they’ve supported the Campaign’s vision and goal of transforming Windsor,” said Matt.

“Everyone should be listened to, and we’re excited to get to work to transform the City. This includes opening up the Downtown for business, ensuring education and training is available to all residents, growing our Tech Sector, and keeping our young people here,”Matt continued.

“We need business, labour, and technology coming together and Matt can bring our community together to get revitalization going on here like we see in Detroit. We need a Downtown we can be proud of, that we can bring people to. There are a lot of good advocates Downtown, like Mark Boscariol, that we’d love to work beside,” said Nick.

“We want to ensure residents have every opportunity for education and training. We want to attract and keep high-paying jobs in this area so we don’t lose our talented workers and youth. Through my years working with Matt, I know that he’s the one that can get things done in Windsor,” said Dino.

“I’ve worked with Matt and he understands that we need a vibrant, livable city with amenities to attract tech companies and to keep talent here in Windsor,” said Lillian.
