On December 22, 1891, a patent was granted for toilet paper rolls. Three days before Christmas, so basically a gift to everyone. 😉
This 124-year-old patent puts to rest once and for all, the over-versus-under toilet paper roll debate. According to the inventor, Seth Wheeler of Albany, New York, the toilet paper should go up and over.
